Hi, I’m A.R. (Aleta) Allen.

Before I was an author, teacher, or founder of Life Tactics Today and Spirit of the Eagle Foundation, I was simply a woman searching for God in the middle of life’s hardest places. My journey has not been an easy one. I have known pain, hardship, deep wounds, and seasons that could have easily broken me. I am a survivor of abuse. I have walked through valleys where only the hand of God could sustain me. I have carried burdens as a mother, including raising four children, one with significant physical challenges from birth, which taught me lessons in faith, perseverance, sacrifice, and unconditional love that no classroom could ever teach. Yet through every hardship, one truth has remained: God has been faithful.  He has been my refuge in sorrow, my strength in weakness, my healer in brokenness, and my steady companion when the road was lonely. He did more than carry me He shaped me. He taught me how to know Him personally, trust Him deeply, hear His voice clearly, and walk with Him daily.

For more than 40 years in ministry, with a background in Theology and Church Growth, I have devoted my life to helping others discover that same relationship with God. My heart has always been for people who are hurting, overlooked, weary, struggling, or searching, those in recovery through AA and NA, those newly released from prison seeking a fresh start, the elderly who need encouragement, and anyone longing to know there is still hope in Christ. Everything I build, write, teach, and share comes from one deep place in my heart: I want people to know God not merely know about Him, but truly know Him and to discover that no life is too wounded, too broken, or too far gone for His love, healing, and redemption. If my life has taught me anything, it is this: God meets us in our deepest places, and when we walk with Him, He can turn even our greatest pain into purpose, strength, compassion, and a testimony that helps light the way for others. That is why I continue to help people build a real relationship with God, stand strong in faith, and walk closely with Him until Christ returns.
